TummyTime! Method
The TummyTime! Method was created by Michelle Emanuel, an Occupational Therapist and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, who specializes in the pre-crawling baby, to address the rising number of babies who are being affected by sleeping on their backs, resulting in tension patterns, torticollis, and flat spots. Very few professionals are skilled in teaching the TummyTime! Method.

During the first two weeks of life, babies should be doing early tummy time on moms’ and dads’ chests! Skin on skin is best for activating the parasympathetic nervous system for both babies and parents.

If your baby cries when you put him or her on their tummy and/or has issues with gas, you and your baby would most definitely benefit from a TummyTime! Method consultation or class. TummyTime! Method can be very helpful for babies who are having tummy troubles.
